Electrostatically painted metal
Our metal products at derStuhl.at benefit from an advanced electrostatic painting process that goes beyond the standards of conventional techniques. This method provides a more uniform and durable finish that not only improves the appearance but also guarantees the longevity of your furniture pieces.
The electrostatic field painting of the metal frame of the products manufactured by derStuhl.at has the advantage of providing a higher quality result than the usual technique. This allows a more resistant layer of paint to be sprayed, which is evenly distributed over the surface to which it is applied. Since the paint is in powder form, it does not flow, nor does it produce different accumulations that could affect its distribution or visual appearance.
When it comes to electrostatic painting, we consider three essential process phases:
– This begins with thoroughly cleaning the surface to be painted.
– In the next step, the cleaned object is brought into the paint booth, where an even, well-distributed layer is applied.
– Finally, the object must be placed in a special oven at high temperatures, where it is left until the paint dries and can be used.
Another method is the electrostatic field painting method with liquid paint
The liquid painting process using an electrostatic field and solvent- or water-based liquid paint has become increasingly popular and offers numerous advantages that cannot be ignored.
< br>– the obligation to use a polymerization oven is eliminated
– therefore we eliminate the additional costs
– we can paint large parts that cannot be placed in the oven.
– the time spent on painting is reduced significantly
– the painting equipment can be easily transported
– Color loss is almost impossible.
